The team at Baptist World Aid are here to help make your fundraiser a success. Below you’ll find some handy resources, donation receipt forms, and information on our fundraising guidelines to help make your experience fun, easy, and rewarding!
Download your Step-by-Step Fundraising Guide for practical tips on fundraising to end poverty! Learn how to plan your event from start to finish… and be inspired by creative fundraising ideas.
Your fundraising event will be conducted in your name and, as the fundraiser, will be your sole responsibility. There are a number of State Regulations that you must abide by as a fundraiser on behalf of Baptist World Aid. Please click here to view our Fundraising Guidelines.
An online fundraising page is the easiest way to collect donations, as any donations you receive will be processed immediately by your page! However, if you host an event where taking donations via a fundraising page is not practical (e.g. a bake sale) or choose not to set-up an online fundraising page, please download our Banking Details Form for more information on how you can return the funds you’ve raised.
Please ensure that all money raised during your fundraising event is returned to Baptist World Aid within 14 days of its completion. View our Fundraising Guidelines for more information.
If you don’t have an online fundraising page and your friends donate to your fundraising activity via a cash donation, where donations exceed $2 they are still entitled to receive a tax-deductible receipt. Please download our Donation Receipt Form and return it to us along with the funds you raise. We’ll then process the donations and send out the tax-deductible receipts on your behalf. Please allow up to four weeks for these receipts to be issued.
If your fundraising event incurs costs, as well as generate an income, it is a legal requirement that you keep a record of your budget, income, and expenditure. Having a detailed record of the costs involved means that you can deduct the necessary expenses from the proceeds of your fundraising event, provided they are properly documented. So, be sure to download your Budget Income and Expenditure Form. Please submit this form to Baptist World Aid along with the funds you raise.
Please refer to our Fundraising Guidelines for more information.
