Fair Chocolate Postcard

$0.00

anchor
Order postcards before Easter for your church, school or community group, so together we can take a stand against exploitation in the cocoa industry.

  • Around 1.5 million children work on cocoa plantations in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
  • While chocolate companies enjoy significant profits, many farmers live in extreme poverty.
  • Only 16 per cent of chocolate farmers are earning a living wage.

* Please note that the minimum order for postcards is 10.

Let’s Demand Better

As chocolate consumers, we are part of an industry that exploits millions, but we can also be part of the solution.

When more of us speak up, the greater the impetus for change so the people making our chocolate can enjoy fair treatment and wages.

Invite those within your church, school or community group to sign a postcard asking the Government to make policy changes that better protect children against exploitation in the cocoa industry, and ensure farmers earn a fair wage.

We Are Asking For

Chocolate companies operating in Australia to publish where their cocoa comes from

A ban on all imported goods where there is evidence of bonded and child labour

A fair and living wage for cocoa farmers, so families aren’t driven to exploiting children.
