Aadya* is the daughter of garment workers who live away from their children for work. Aadya’s grandparents help out, but she often had to walk alone to school where she felt exposed and scared. But being part of the Child Club run by our Christian Partners in Bangladesh means she’s no longer alone and afraid. Our Partners have been working across the community to ensure children like Aadya can grow up in safety, without fear. Aadya has learnt all about how to stay healthy and safe as a young girl. She even helped to save one of her friends from a child marriage! Because of support from people like you for Child Friendly Spaces, Aadya and her friends can go to school without fear.
