Marbuen joined Baptist World Aid in 2018 after 18 years of pastoral ministry, part-time lecturing at Morling College, and work in overseas missions/developmental context. He has a Bachelor of Ministry through Morling College, a Master of Transformational Development through Eastern College, and currently completing a Masters of Counselling through Excelsia College. Marbuen is a registered minister and lives with his wife and three children in Sydney.

Nathan joined Baptist World Aid in 2021 after 15 years of pastoral experience in a diverse range of roles and 9 years of serving as part of the NSW/ACT Team of Global Interaction. In that time he has enjoyed the privilege of building relationships with churches across NSW and ACT, as well as taking many teams to experience and learn from overseas cross-cultural mission communities and contexts. He looks forward to continuing his work with Baptist Churches in NSW & ACT helping them to deepen their understanding of God’s heart for people living in poverty.

Nathan studied at Morling College and is an accredited minister with the NSW/ACT Baptist Association. He lives in Sydney with his wife and two daughters.

Kathy Sinclair joined Baptist World Aid in January 2019 after having spent 11-years on staff at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, WA, as the Children and Families Pastor.

Kathy joined Baptist World Aid in January 2019. She comes to the role having spent 11-years on staff at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Western Australia, as the Children and Families Pastor. In more recent years, she also held responsibility for overseeing the church’s mission ministry.
Kathy has been a speaker for Christian Women Communicating Internationally (CWCI) for several years, where she enjoys the privilege of travelling around Western Australia. She is looking forward to continuing to visit church communities to share about the work of Baptist World Aid and how individuals and congregations can respond effectively to God’s heart for the poor and needy.

Kathy has degrees in Speech Pathology and teaching, she also holds a Graduate Diploma of Divinity. Kathy is married to Mark and has two children and a daughter-in-law.

Steve Woods joined Baptist World Aid in May 2019, after over 25 years in Pastoral Ministry in both city and country churches in South Australia.

Steve joined Baptist World Aid in May 2019, after over 25 years in Pastoral Ministry in both city and country churches in South Australia. Currently Steve, together with his wife Vicki, is pioneering a new missional community in Adelaide’s North-West, focussed around the practices of prayer and hospitality. Their neighbourhood is a melting pot of socio-economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, including many refugees and new arrivals. Steve is an Accredited Pastor and a trained Spiritual Director and loves helping people and churches connect with God, especially God’s heart for the poor and those on the margins. He has a Bachelor of Ministries and a Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction. Steve and Vicki have three adult children, two of whom still live at home.

John Mansfield joined Baptist World Aid in February 2020 after having spent seven years on staff at Riverlife Baptist Church, QLD, as the District Pastor.

John joined Baptist World Aid in February 2020. He comes to the role having spent seven years on staff at Riverlife Baptist Church, Queensland, as the District Pastor and Community Development and Families Pastor and is an accredited Pastor. John, a qualified watch and clock maker, was also National Retail and Operations Manager in the corporate world, for one of Australia’s oldest and leading jewellery companies. John is passionate about global missions and has been actively involved in mission work in Africa, Turkey, and recently China.

John is currently completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Spiritual Psychotherapy and has degrees in Business Administration and holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Divinity through Malyon College in Queensland.

Paul Manning joined Baptist World Aid in 2020 after 22 years Pastoral Ministry in both city and country Baptist Churches within New South Wales and Victoria.

Paul joined Baptist World Aid in 2020 after 22 years Pastoral Ministry in both city and country Baptist Churches within New South Wales and Victoria. He has completed a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Ministry, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. He is an ordained-accredited minister with the Baptist Union of Victoria. Paul is married to Liz; they have four adult children as well as an increasing number of grandchildren. Paul is looking forward to supporting the Baptist Churches and Partners in Victoria and Tasmania in their partnership with Baptist World Aid as they follow God’s call and respond to poverty and injustice.

Bethany first joined Baptist World Aid at the start of 2018 as a volunteer, before later taking on the role of Church Relationship Coordinator. She recently completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Development Studies major and has a heart for community-led development. Bethany is inspired by the transformational work of Baptist World Aid and its overseas partners in helping communities overcome poverty. She loves being able to play a role in connecting Australian supporters with the very work they so generously support.
