What a beautiful day walking. Gorgeous weather (2-18°C) with clear skies and a gentle wind. We took the alternate route away from the main roads today and it was brilliant. A little further in distance but so worth it!Open fields and gravel roads that reminded us a lot of Western Australia wound along beautiful canola fields with snow capped mountains in the distance. A peaceful and stunning day.

Highights: Morning tea at a pilgrim stop, walking with Curt and chatting for an hour or two with him, lunch and resting feet, warm weather, magnificent scenery… my new socks worked a treat!

Reflections: we always have more energy in the morning and no matter how short or long the day, the last 4 km are always the hardest. In life, it takes discipline to finish what you begin. Many people stop too soon and fail to complete the day/season/assignment God gives.
Beautiful flowers were all alongside today. In life, God gives us a blessing with His creativity of colour and design. Its in creation we see His handiwork.
Tomorrow is a 30+km day. We will leave before sun-up and are already packed. In life, prepare well for tough times.

Prayer point: I am still having a lot of trouble with sciatica in my left leg. Please pray pain eases and I am able to walk with greater ease.
