There is a Hunger Crisis in East Africa and Yemen. 20 million men, women, and children are at risk of starving to death.
It is the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time. Yet, day after day, it draws on in silence. As we continue with our routines, their hunger deepens. While we’re living out our busy lives, people are starving to death.
How should we respond to the world’s biggest humanitarian crisis?
STOP… and be still.
It’s easy to be overwhelmed by a crisis of this scale…. but, as Christians, we know we’re not called to find solutions in our own strength.
When we are still, we make space to hear God’s voice and recognise His power to transform lives.
This World Food Day – Monday 16 October – we’re asking you to stop. And pray for those who hunger in East Africa and Yemen.
