The problem of poverty is complex. And it can be created and sustained by any number of factors. That’s why we believe that the people who are affected by poverty are best placed to identify its underlying causes.
When you give to our Community Development projects, you support community driven programs run by our Christian partners.
Central to the success of this kind of programming is a high level of community participation and ownership.
Your generosity provides poor communities with the support, resources and training they need to form plans to address the root causes of their poverty and put these plans into action.
