Then Hope Arrived

On that first Christmas, while the world slept, a baby arrived into the mess of our world, shattering the bleakness and bringing hope that God had a plan to return us to himself. God with us—Immanuel—the hope of the world had arrived.

Christmas reminds us that even in the darkest of times, God is seeking to draw us close, restore relationships and offer hope for a better world. Jesus came to bring good news to the poor, sight to the blind, liberation to the oppressed, and freedom from debts—both spiritual and material.

Could your church community celebrate the arrival of Jesus, the light of world, with a Christmas gift for a better world?

I’LL GIVE FOR A BETTER WORLD

Mina once lived in poverty—barely earning enough to survive, let alone thrive. But with support from our local Christian Partner, she started a business and now has a stable income to provide for her family.

She wisely invests in her family’s future by funding her grandson’s education, and by putting away savings. And she’s working with our local Partner to disrupt unjust systems and lead her community out of poverty.

Around the world, children,
men and women, like Mina, have the capacity to change their lives and communities for the better, but are limited by poverty.
Your gift, this Christmas, provides opportunities for more people like Mina to effectively lead themselves and others out of poverty and into fullness of life.
