In Sudan, famine is likely to be declared this year, as violent military conflict continues to scatter the population, disrupting agriculture and access to food. A third of the population do not have enough to eat, and around 222,000 children could die of starvation in the coming months
The country is also experiencing the biggest displacement crisis in history, with 8.4 million people having fled their homes due to violence. Exploitation and abuse of women and children has risen, and diseases are on the rise as families have little to no access to healthcare.
Your donation today will help vulnerable families access much needed nutrition, emergency health services and other essentials, so they can survive.
